Professor Dr. Amr Abdel Rahim
Professor Dr. Amr Abdel Raheem is one of the leading pioneers in andrology and male infertility surgery in the Middle East and globally. He is an expert in various andrological surgeries, particularly penile prosthesis implantation.
Dr. Abdel Raheem serves as a professor of andrology and male infertility surgery at Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine and is a consultant at major specialized centers and hospitals in the UK, most notably International Andrology in London.
Dr. Amr has significantly contributed to research on Xiapex (Xiaflex) treatment. He is the lead researcher and supervisor for all Xiapex trials conducted in the United Kingdom. Xiapex is an approved non-surgical treatment for Peyronie’s disease. Dr. Amr has performed approximately 1,000 procedures using this technique, and according to International Andrology, this number is the highest for a single doctor not only in the UK but across Europe. Additionally, Dr. Amr oversees the training of all new doctors in the UK on the use of this treatment.

Dr. Amr Abdel Raheem is part of a team of scientists researching the potential of Botox in treating erectile dysfunction. This groundbreaking research has shown highly promising results, marking a significant advancement in andrology and male infertility treatment. Dr. Amr has discussed this research with the research team at numerous international medical conferences, including the International Society for Sexual Health meeting in Beijing in 2016 and the American Society for Sexual Medicine meeting in Arizona in 2016.
Furthermore, he teaches and trains many new doctors in Egypt and the UK. He also supervises the training of nurses across various institutions, not only in andrology and male infertility but also in fields such as urology, obstetrics and gynecology, genetic and hereditary diseases, and oncology. Additionally, he oversees numerous master’s theses for students. Dr. Amr attends a vast number of international medical conferences and discussions, presenting his research and engaging with the work of other doctors.
